Guidelines/Dues
Guests:
- A guest may visit the club up to two times before making their decision to join the group. The club will treat the guest to lunch during the first visit.
- Only one person per occupation is allowed and a member can only join under their primary occupation, not a part-time or secondary career. If the guest's primary occupation is currently filled, they can be placed on the waiting list should the position become open in the future.
- Guests are invited to speak during the 60 second informative session but are not allowed to place cards in or take business cards from the box.
Absences and Tardies:
- The effectiveness of the LNP group depends on the member's active participation at each meeting. Absences, tardies and early departures essentially mean less business for all members and it expresses a lack of respect for fellow members. By completing the application process, each member commits to attend regularly, arriving on time and remaining for the entire session.
- LNP meeting will be held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 12:45-2:00pm . A member is allowed only two (2) absences per a six month period. A person may be assigned to attend in place of a member that is unable to attend the meeting. The substitute can be anyone that will act on behalf of the member and is not required to be a co-worker or from the same industry. A substitute may speak about their business if there is not a conflict within the club; otherwise they only speak on behalf of the member.
- The Membership Committee will review attendance, tardies and early departures on a routine basis. The committee will have the right to open the classification of any member that fails to meet the attendance guidelines or has a problem with consistent tarries and/or early departures.
Dues:
- Each member of the club will pay $125 per year as annual dues. New members will pay a one time $25 new member fee. As a non-profit organization, all money collected will be used for club expenses to include printing of all materials, website design and maintenance, new member items and meal fees for guests.
- Each member of the club will pay $60 per quarter (3 months) for lunch/facility fees. If you join during the middle of a quarter your lunch/facility fee will be pro-rated.
- The officers (President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and IT) are elected by the members for a one year term. In exchange for their time and support of the club, officers do not pay dues while they are in the position. Officers are required to follow all other guidelines of a member including attendance policies.
Referrals:
- The purpose of LNP is to help grow the businesses of the members. Each member works towards the goal of one lead per week. A lead is not a guarantee of business. A lead gives the members an opportunity to meet a new potential customer.
- Once a month the "fish bowl" will be passed. Each member in attendance on the first meeting of the month will place their business card into the fish bowl. Every member pulls one card from the bowl and that will be the member they meet with during the month to help increase their knowledge of their business which will help them increase their leads for the member. If you pull a name that you have had within the last three months, another name should be drawn.
